Privacy policy
This site belongs to Bella Vespa Sales UK of Newark, Nottinghamshire (the business, “we”). It exists so you can look at our bikes and get in touch. We collect as little about you as possible, and we never sell or share your details for marketing.
When you send an enquiry
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, what you are looking for and your message. The “first look” box asks for your email address only. When you press send:
- your message is delivered to our inbox (bvsalesuk@gmail.com) so we can reply to you;
- a copy is stored securely by Orchestrix (the Nottingham studio that builds and hosts this site for us) so an enquiry is never lost if an email goes astray.
We use your details only to answer you and, if you buy a bike, to arrange the sale. Enquiries are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Sales records we are required to keep for accounting live outside this website.
Buying and paying
This site has no shop, basket or checkout. Bikes are sold by enquiry, and any deposit or payment is arranged directly between you and us. No card or bank details are ever entered on, or stored by, this website.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets no marketing or advertising cookies, ever. With your permission (the banner you saw when you arrived), we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors get on with the site: which pages people read, and where the site could be clearer. Clarity only loads after you accept, advertising storage is switched off, and you can change your mind any time via in the footer. If you decline, the site works exactly the same.
Server logs
Like nearly every website, the server that hosts this site keeps short-lived technical logs (your IP address and the pages requested) for security and reliability. These are not used to identify or profile you.
Where the site lives
The site and its content database are hosted by Orchestrix on servers in the EU. The content database holds the words, photos and prices you see on the site, not visitor data.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it, by emailing bvsalesuk@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you think we’ve got something wrong.
